TEMPLE: Logan Utah Temple

daytime photo of the Logan Utah Temple

Following my statewide road trip to capture all 16 LDS temples in Utah, the Logan Utah Temple signaled the end of a 33-hour road trip (24 of which was spent in the car). It was a welcome sight!

One of the special things about the Logan Utah Temple is that it was the second operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was dedicated in May 1884 by John Taylor. This magnificent building stands as a beacon in Cache Valley, visible from throughout the valley. The temple is one of my favorite sites as I enter Cache Valley through Sardine Canyon, and at night time, it stands out from all the other lights that dot the valley.
