“The Lord entrusts a testimony of the truth to those who will share it with others.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf

To me this means that our testimonies are something that should be shared and praised upon. I believe that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are living beings and that they are here on this earth to help guide us and our wonderful church leaders.

Being from Utah, I was always told that you have a testimony and I always believed them. Being a little older and wiser, I have learned that a testimony is something that you have to work for not only for a while but each day. Life throws you struggles and having that testimony is the greatest thing you can possess.

Recently, my husband had a bad fall and ended up having to have surgery that cost us a lot of money. With faith in the Lord and going to church every Sunday, praying to the Lord, and paying our tithing, we have been able to pay our debt and be somewhat okay while we are still going through school.

I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and it has helped me in my life whether I was looking for an answer or just looking for peace in my life.

One of the most important things that I have loved is the music in the Church. I absolutely have the hardest time getting up in front of people and telling them how I feel about the church so instead of my voice, I use my hands. I grew up playing the piano and one thing that I love to play is church music. I feel the spirit the strongest when I am playing the music. Music is a way we can feel the spirit in a different way which is something I love about the gospel.

I know this church is true and I am so grateful to be apart of it and to be sealed to my eternal family forever. It is the greatest gifts in my life and I am always going to try my best to be the best I can be and be able to feel my Savior’s love.

In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
